Satirah has more than 15 years’ experience in training, instructional design, curriculum development, online curriculum design, and program management. Her ability to effectively communicate and coordinate tasks enables her to complete projects on time and on budget while incorporating interaction and creativity. Satirah’s experience allows her to apply her ADDIE methodology and adult learning theory to all training she develops.
In her previous position at University of Phoenix, Satirah facilitated e-learning courses in several subjects including Critical Thinking, Foundations for Student Success, and Skills for Learning in an Information Age. She created course syllabi and instructor policies while providing progress and plans for students’ academic performance.
Through her work at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Satirah administered needs analyses to collect pertinent data for determining performance gaps and identifying learning needs and promoted higher order thinking using Bloom’s Taxonomy in training development.
Satirah has a Master of Education from Georgia State University.
